I have arrived in Wellington! Finally. The train was twelve hours, and I almost slept in for it. Typical me. But I made it alright anyway. The train I took was called the overlander, ran by tranz scenic.
The journey was beautiful, the scenery was breathtaking in some parts. Throughout the journey the staff told us about the history of some places over the speaker, which was cool. Though after the 27th Viaduct story I tuned out though. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the service was great. Highly recommend it.
Been for a wander round Wellington, and I love all the quirky alternative shops and cafes there are. I think I may stay here a while anyway, find a job and flat.
Though on friday night, I went to see The Black Swan at the cinema with a fellow traveller. I was not expecting half the stuff that came one, but it's a brilliant movie. Seriously it's fantastic. Without giving too much away, it's about a ballerina who gets the leading role for Swan Lake and as time goes on, you see her descending into madness in a shocking and heart breaking way. Near the end you just don't know whats real or not, its really gripping. Go see it. But be warned there are some gruesome parts in it.
